Title: First run speed of Disk Management
Post by: powerpc on December 13, 2019, 03:54:04 AM

First run speed of Disk Management
* Build Core - Build Options - Full Winre.wim with light WinSxS (default)
* System Account
If you build with Lite settings and a system account, check VMWARE.
Disk Manager is slow to initial execution.

Adding Repository files improves the initial run speed.
\Windows\System32\wbem\Repository\INDEX.BTR
\Windows\System32\wbem\Repository\MAPPING1.MAP
\Windows\System32\wbem\Repository\MAPPING2.MAP
\Windows\System32\wbem\Repository\MAPPING3.MAP
\Windows\System32\wbem\Repository\OBJECTS.DATA

I hope it will be added by default.

They are default in winre.wim.

WIN10XPE delete them by default.

A option will be good.

A quick test with "Full WinRE.wim" selected on "Build Core - Build Options" interface
Results with the Required Files Suggested above Included...
So would think that "Full WinRE.wim" would be the option to use in this case...
