Hi, I’m trying to make my own Windows PE using Win10PE SE. I have a problem with Shadow Explorer. Despite I included .NET Framework (Full .Net Win 1709-1809) and VSS I got an error window from Microsoft .NET Framework, with this text inside:

Unhandled exception has occured in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

Configuration system failed to initialize.

The window has 3 buttons: Details, Continue, Quit.

The text appeared after clicking on Details button is on error log.txt.

* error log.txt (5.33 kB - downloaded 45 times.)
I’m using Shadow Explorer plugin from Yomi.
How can I solve?

Thanks in advance,

I can't edit my first post, so I add a reply.

I run a Scan Health with Dism++10 and I got this error: Indicates two revision levels are incompatible.

Could it be a Win10PESE 2019-04-12 bug? Or a .NET Framework Plugin bug?

Please somebody try to build a Win10PESE using latest version (2019-04-12) with .NET Framework and try to run Shadow Explorer.

Thanks.

You need Source: Windows 10, Version 1809 – Redstone 5 [October 2018] (build 17763.1) for best compatibility

I just tried Windows 10, Version 1809 – Redstone 5 [Sept 2018] (build 17763.1) and even Windows 10, Version 1803 – Redstone 4 [Apr 2018] (build 17134.1) but I always get the same error. What could it be? A bug with latest Win10PESE?

It sounds like the .NET plugin needs to be updated in SE I will look at it for the 1903 update which is coming soon.
