Hello,

since a few days I am trying to get USB tethering to work with my Android phone.
It is working fine with my desktop PC.
However, I am not successful in installing the drivers correctly with PE Builder.
I always get the question marks in device manager and when I try to update the drivers from my directory it says it fails because the inf file was made for Windows 95 and above???
I exported the drivers (and even ALL current drivers) from my windows installation with double driver and integrated it in the build.
I already thought I am just missing some other files needed for this to work.

Therefore my question: Has anybody tried that before and was successful?
I know it's a special case but I need it because I am able to use WLAN with my phone but not with my notebook (stops working after a short while, also on my colleagues notebook).
Using USB tethering with the phone, however, works flawlessly - just not with my WinPE build.

Any help appreciated,
thanks,
best regards
Richard

Hmmm.... I think it is because NDIS drivers are missing in my PE Build.
I just don't have some kind of driver pack and in my windows build there are 350 files when I search for *ndis*.* spread all over different directories :-(
Thanks,
best regards
Richard
