Lancelot, you have kinda explained this to me but it was off topic on my part so I wanted to make a topic just for this. You said that if I decide I need to change something on my build, I could do so in the script and press the green play button and it fixes the build so I don't have to rebuild every time, did I understand you correctly? If so, how does this fix my build? Does Winbuilder mount the ISO and make changed inside the already build ISO or does the green button just apply to the next build? My main question is what exactly happens when I click the green button to the already built Gena ISO?

With "fix" I should mean "change",
Well, making "change" with goal to "fix", or anyother ("add","modify","remove" etc.) is easier with green play....

Consider each plugin as a batch (ex: .cmd) file,
Folder Organisations is here (click picture)
http://theoven.org/index.php?topic=118.0
as you notice,
building project (bluebutton), in fact running each batch (green play) one by one, like mp3 player ;)

Each plugin goal to make something at .\Target\Gena
Create Image plugin (at the end of Finals) create .iso at .\ISO

Giving test example:
Make a small build (like "Gena Appetizer" http://gena.cwcodes.net/Compressed/ , Utils\ScriptManager->Restore->Appetizer)
after build ends, Gena.iso created
than hit green button at Apps\CDVD\"ImgBurn"
==> this makes "ImgBurn" created at  .\Target\Gena (++with all other adjustment required, shortcut etc... )
than hit green button at "Finals\2 Create Image\"Create ISO"
==> this makes  .iso at .\ISO

This way (green), you do not waste time running all plugins (blue) for each small** "change" ;)

Thanks, makes perfect sense to me now.  :play_ball: Example, I can say add a new line to the Portable CMD script and hit the green button and that makes changes to the stored working directory so then instead of hitting big blue guy, I can just go to the wim boot option (the one I use) and hit the green button and it will build a new ISO without having to redo the whole deal. My existing stuff will be the same in the new ISO but only what I changed with the green button.

Gena\Finals\1 Optimizations\"BackupRestore Optimizations"

Win7PE SE

a note for Win7PESE:
to use green button with Win7PESE,
you should use (for today)
Win7PESE\Utils\"Mount"

and an out of topic note:
Win7PESE\Utils\"Extract Wim Folders"
will help you build significantly faster

This is my next build with just the files and not the mount.   :offtopic: question. I have a way to get the source I need from my wim but it's slow. What do you guys recommend to extract a specific image from a wim? Say Win 7 Ultimate?

I mean what is the best way to extract say Win 7 Ultimate from the wim to the Extract Wim Folders? Not sure if I made that clear. I normal mount the image and copy the files and paste but that's too slow. Not sure if there was a faster extract method? I think DISM has a way to extracted a specific wim to a specific folder.  :punk:

P.S Going to be on the auto correct smartphone the rest of the day. Ignore any typos!

Was going to but it was taking too long to copy the files from the mounted wim to the extracted wim folders so I stopped. I didn't see an option for Win builder to extract my wim to that folder. It says you are responsible for the extraction. I was wondering the best and fastest way to get the files from my Windows 7 wim to the extracted wim folder? Hope this makes better sense?

I assume you mean with that plugin, I point to my wim and I guess choose my index number and hit the green button and then Winbuilder extracts the files from the wim to the workbench folder?

because I say the warning about my responsibility to extract wim.

Himmm,
warning purpose is, end user can do unexpected crayz things
by not following simple instructions

although, we are already prepared many of them, there is still a chance...

Shortly: as long as you follow instructions, wims extracted from a good source nicely, things will run nicely,
everybody around use this option

I see your post now:
I assume you mean with that plugin, I point to my wim and I guess choose my index number and hit the green button and then Winbuilder extracts the files from the wim to the workbench folder?
just follow the instructions you Crayz End User

I am off in some minutes, happy test

@ChrisR:

Maybe a more friendly (less scary) warning required !!
like giving some confidence to end user,
saying
"Don't worry, this option is most used"

also when your hands dirty, please add
pWebLabel1="Plugin Page",1,10,373,6,200,18,http://TheOven.org/index.php?topic=228
