Hello,
Need some help.
I'm new to this tool.  I've used Bartpe alot in past but I'm kinda stumped and need a nudge.
How can I add start menu folders & links?  I see a Pin script.  But I attempt to add shortcuts this way but its not working.
I tried to design a simple script myself.  but that didn't work.
I would be adding the folder and shortcut in the boot.wim then I would want to create links or start menu items pointing to those folders.
any help would be appreciated.

Try
Script Creator Packed
available at
\Utils\"SC Packed"

it will help you to get a simple plugin yourself, with shortcuts and etc.

thank you for your help.

Ok I'm taking baby steps....
I've copied it "script" to utils folder in Winbuilder projects.

I see that it wants a compress file.  I don't have one.  the link will be to a vbs on network share.
So I don't know if this util will help me.

When I press gooooo excute button it places the shortcut in start menu automatically?

Yes it would (as defined) create a plugin for an application you prepared by packing (compress) ;)

try with something simple, like notepad2 ;)
http://www.flos-freeware.ch/notepad2.html

Result would help you to understand how syntax goes.... yes it places shortcut in startmenu automatically.

after this little practice, you will have a better picture on shortcut syntax

Than I guess it would be quite easy to create the shortcut you plan to...
