Title: Acronis Backup 12.5 Serial Number retrieval issue

I hope this is the correct way/place to post a question, wasn't sure where to post in an existing thread.

I am having an issue with the Acronis Backup 12.5 script in Win10XPE Builder (http://theoven.org/index.php?topic=2607.msg32496#msg32496).

I have purchased the latest version (12.5.14330), installed and licensed it with our purchased serial. I have activated and verified through the web console. However, when using the above plugin in Win10XPE builder, I noticed the registry location where the script is looking for the license doesn't exist (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\LicensesInfo). I have two other License related keys with possible license data under the BackupAndRecovery key, but I have tried copying those and pasting them into the text box and I still get an unlicensed Acronis Backup instance when booting up the PE. I'm not sure if Acronis changed the way they store the license data or what is going on exactly. I was wondering if I could get some assistance figuring out what is going on. Everything else is setup great in our PE.

Post by: James on May 25, 2020, 11:15:20 PM: if you export "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery" you can PM me the reg file
it is looking for a long serial number and a user key - else I have not way to verify
or tou would have to edit script to point to a use proper reg key location

The Registration Information is missing from the Host Registry File You sent...
Can get Text Box to Write Proper Info - Problem is verifying the Export Key Function from Host OS - as that date KEY entry is missing.

if it is not certain where the registration information is stored,
simulate installation and find it / catch it with RegShot ? :smile:

I have done some testing and I have everything working. We only purchased one perpetual license. I will call this a workaround, but it works perfect so far. I just built the PE with PE builder as normal, then I took the resultant ISO folder (extracted ISO contents) from Win10XPE. Then I ran the Acronis Bootable Media Builder, select WinPE media and select my own WinPE (or BartPE) and let it add the components that way and so far it looks great! I will do some more testing and if you would like me to post this result in the thread I started originally, I would be happy to do so. Thank you so much for your time and effort. This PE builder and community have assisted us so much over the years.
