Hello
I encountered something interesting on.
a Win7PE live CD that is offered by "wondershare".
http://www.wondershare.de/boot-cd/
Think that it is based on the Win7PE of "TheOven.
Some files are located in the PE.
'm Not 100% sure.

Hi
I have a copy of this CD. Yes, core of this CD is based on the Win7PE_SE project. You can find the Win7PE.CFG file inside System32 folder. Another interesting thing is, this same company sells this boot CD on another name - Spotmau Bootsuit.

Spotmau Corporation was established in April, 2006 which is a company of Wondershare Software Co., Ltd.

Thank you for the informations
There are in effect Win7PE.cfg but also many other things which clearly shows that they have used Win7PE_SE as base
I do not know much about the license and it bothers me a little.
It seems that without a license, the code is copyrighted by default. People can read the code, but they have no legal right to use it. To use the code, you must contact the author directly and ask permission.
It may be time for me to address the issue and to surround myself.
It may be time also to write a license to protect users, PC tech and setting the limits for commercial use.
What would you do in my place in this case ?
If someone have any legal knowledge in this area, I'm interested in all informations.

Hi ChrisR
That is the right thing to do. I don't know about the legal steps required but i suggest a bartPE style licence. That way, you can charge licence fee for commercial purpose.

Hi Anshad,
Yes, BartPE should be a good basis.
I'll looked but I lack time. If someone have any knowledge to help.
