Lancelot and I decided upon calling the forum "The Oven". We're interested in 'cooking with codes' a la 'cooking with gas'.
:bbq:

If anyone can do a better logo, please be my guest!  :icecream:

Regards,
Galapo.

I like it!

Logo is great and the double entendre works well; good, warm feelings are engendered by the imagery. The only possible criticism I can envision would be that it's not serious enough for hard-core techies. For me, life is serious enough already; I'm all for a lighter approach

Thanks for your effort and for the positive attitude.

Hi Amalux,

forum is only to keep a friendly environment  some tidy up in time would get things run smooth,
neither Galapo nor me are "hard-core techies", I more like to express: we have "Amateur Soul" to get things together with all.
As long as friendly sharing continues, both amateurs and "hard-core techies" welcome, well we do not have a "expansion" or "advertisement" policy for both forum and Gena project (only 3-1=2 forums we posted, that is all), hence member number of forum is pretty slow increasing and not our primary object.
(Personally: I wish, a user never need to login to download anything around in future)

As you may remember , forum was in fact made quickly by Galapo to move communication from e-mail traffic to forum environment which is tidier.....
With passing time, my idea changed slightly, now I hope it comes more classy (=tidy and easy to understand-follow) to welcome new participants....
I have some criterias in mind (through experience), and forum name was a hard step, hard because both Galapo and me are bad at giving names, since October 03  2010 it was on the table without being priority..........
Giving name step done  :happy_dance:, with this speed  I guess all rest steps will be finished next year (slowly slowly :turtle: we never have rush indeed)
I feel Galapo had good times on naming sub things so far, you are now "Code Baker" as "Jr. Chef"

Even becoming less active everyday, In some close future I will be more watching how things goes, all in Galapo's hands with my wish best luck.
