So, I am trying to make my PE environment more and more network dependent for my work, to centralize things. I've set up a (password protected) network share specifically for backups.

Ideally, I would want the win8.1se interface to automatically map the network drive with the right credentials (preferably with a 30-second delay to allow for network detection). I'd like this to be transparent, as in no extra dialogues or whatnot pops up. If it happens to fail, I would like to have that happen in a hidden fashion too (so if it's not on the right network, it doesn't pop up some crazy error about the network drive).

In a similar option, I would also like to automatically connect to a specified network wirelessly on load, assuming the wireless card gets detected and installed properly.

If anybody has an idea about how to achieve this, it would be helpful.

Thanks for the (extremely) quick reply, that is quite helpful. It looks like the more reliable option is to start the network via the PENetwork plugin before the shell, and then set up some default options within the configuration. PENetwork also seems to support adding network shares. It'll add a delay to the boot times, but can't win it all.
