Hey guys!

The issue I'm about to describe is somewhat odd, I searched the forum but did not find any mention to something like this.
I am doing some testing with VMWare and Win7PE SE and during these tests I tried the Remote Desktop Client, but it couldn't establish a connection.
Pretty weird since I had perfect connectivity, web browsing working smoothly, samba connections also wonderful and yet RDC stalled when trying to establish a connection.
Through some trial and error I came to the conclusion that this happens for several reasons related to audio, namely if RDC is set to play remote audio on the local machine (default) while not having a sound card (not even emulated) and, at the same time, not having the Audio Service running;

If I change the RDC remote audio setting to play the remote audio on the remote machine, or not play it at all, then the connection is established without an itch.
If I enable the Audio Service, still without a sound card, then the connection is established without an itch; but it gets weirder... if afterwards I stop the Audio Service the connections will still be established successfully.

I don't know if this would happen on a physical machine which did not have the drivers for it's sound card.
Any idea why this happens exactly and if there is any way to workaround this on the pre-build phase?
Although this is a minor issue, I am curious to know if someone else can reproduce this behavior.
I also plan on trying this later with Win8.1 SE and see if something similar happens.
