Hi, Lancelot
you maybe make a plugin that can make lots of PESE plugin be compatibility(work on WIN10XPE) than convert PESE plugin(s) to XPE one.
Leave people to choose, use PESE plugin(s) or native XPE plugin(s).

If for that have to modify the Core.script, I hope ChrisR could make some interface to make people do that, than replace Core.script for every updating.

Hi slore,

keeping short as much as I can....
http://theoven.org/index.php?topic=687.0
secondly: he is a thief, he has no respect for the work of others, its two projects Win7PE and Win8PE are only copies made from previous Win7pese and Win8pese.
by changing, hiding original authors names and by making small changes to make believe that it is his job.

Today ChrisR changed his point of view, and I agree he is free.
We would not even current topic if ChrisR made clarifications before.

We shouldn't be bondage with compatibility.
I fully agree  :great:

> new incompatibility lead new features
Sadly this is not the case here.
python2/python3 example does not fit, theoric WimBuilderUIZ example perfectly explains why does not fit.

So life goes, things changes
If such things happen again on xpe world like
eg. this http://theoven.org/index.php?topic=687.0 // eg. someone recreate and xpe plugin with his name on it // eg. someone re create xpe project with some fabricated variables  etc. etc. (last 2 eg. in theory http://theoven.org/index.php?topic=2697.msg32097#msg32097 )

I will only say ChrisR approves that on xpe world, one free to do such things.

Previously It would cause a ban after a warning.... It is still that way out of xpe world, as I wrote before I am not sure how things will go that way, time will show...

I don't have strong emotion/compatibility requirement like you who work on PESE for long time.
There is a misconception

I did not work on PESE, I work on Plugins. (Type=Plugin)

misconceptions continue here
use PESE plugin(s) or native XPE plugin(s).

I hope you will use the correct terminology ( Plugin & XPEPlugin ) to avoid misconception.

+ About emotion :
I feedback all projects and builder ideas for years now with a different level of interest even before the current forum existed.
My emotion to Plugin is very independent of SE and even Gena.

Let me know if you need a reply to a point on your posts. I try to keep very short.

Reminding I also tutorial James (with name KYHI) to create plugins nicely,
If my memory right I invited him to be around too many years ago.. ps: I have no regret on that decision of that time.

You Did...
And for that I will again express - My Sincere Sense Of Gratitude - To You Lancelot
Thank You...

Have fun. You are a perfect living example I treat people equal around here, like al_jo, Atari800xl etc.

When someone complains about things and try to regular post game of misconception
"moderator has a personal feeling with me, that is the reason of blabla"
I can now respond
"Even James keep continue around following rules, do not go out of subject"

Half glass always full.

Edit: typo fixed (not -> now )

Edit:
After a year current topic, here is a package at "Converting script between PESE and XPE" again self proves incompatibility Fabricated

Lancelot Reply 3 - http://theoven.org/index.php?topic=2982.msg35499#msg35499

Package gets plugins work on Win10XPE out of box by only reverting Fabricated Incompatibility.
