Hi guys!
New here
Been looking at Win7PE SE with WinBuilder. Looking for information on adding imagex:exe to the build.
Sorry, if I am missing the plot..... :embarrassed: want a PEboot with imagex included and Win7PE is great.
After building my ISO I tried to use diskpart etc, but no imagex.exe for creating wim files....
What do I need to do to get the WinBuilder with imagex.exe added.

Hi again!
Obvioulsly it was a stupid question....sorry for that.
Just wanted an PEboot environment which could do a lot more when needed...
I use the PEboot environment to build wims and transfer them to the my serve. I guess I will stick to the standard PEboot with imagex
Thanks anyway

Welcome :hi:

I do not know if it's a stupid question or not

In any case a script for GImageX v.2.0.17 already exists. It uses wimgapi.dll and wimfltr driver (Vista Waik)
script written by Galapo and modified by me in to get M$ files (wimgapi, wimfltr) automatically from tools folder.

GimageX.script

question not, but reply 1 to me is

Himm, maybe we should put more info to forum intro:
This is not a commercial forum,
Win7PE SE is not a commercial project,
We are also not pc magazine etc.
We do not hire people as support posters to reply others,
All people around here have other works to do in real life,
So waiting a reply only for 4 hours is really a bad attitute.....

Anyway,
In addition to ChrisR advice
Win7PE SE already have \Components----->Additional Files
where you can easly add anything like imagex.exe

Hi guys
I wasn't being impatient and I wasn't being sarcastic.... :embarrassed:
Just that I realised myself that the question was probably stupid and not worth an answer....

But that is by the by.....have been known to be a stroppy git when I am in pain.....so I thought I'd warn you in advance.....today hasn't been a good day......

I do appreciate that you have lives outside of the forum and I am sorry we got off to a bad start.......

I thank you for your help and apologise again if I ruffled any feathers.

Hi Lancelot

It is something I have learned to live with....good days bad days..not something that can be fixed. Shouldn't be sitting at a computer.....but I love them....

Actually said to my girlfriend when she got the first computer....you wont ever get me sitting in front of one of them things..... :w00t:

Can't leave them alone now...

Going to have another look at the great work you guys have done and see if I can get things working the way I want them....

Will probably be starting more threads shortly.....my girlfriend says I have a screw loose.
