I was able to get 19041-450 to boot by following a little trick someone posted here..
I used additions to add system32 files based upon the alphabet a,b,c,...
\windows\sysyem32\A*.dll - \windows\system32\B*.dll - etc
I have it booting with \windows\system32\s*.dll

Does using this tool break any usage licence from Microsoft for WinPE?

No, there is a link to the subject somewhere, if I can find it I'll post it here

http://theoven.org/index.php?topic=327.msg5293#msg5293
Hi lopez,

I wonder if I could use it legally for my work as technician. Or would it be dangerous?
Yes you can following MS license.
TheOven is open ~9 years now, we are not closed by MS legacy team since everything here is ok.

Hi, Did you find the link?
I was told that it was going against the licence for Winpe to extract and use the likes of the file explorer?

Hi

it turned out to be referencing the win7  project, but the same applies

thanks for the update,

but, "Pin To StartMenu" is not working. x86/win10 2004/win7.
I just checked "Pin To StartMenu" of PeNetwork, Firefox Quantum,
build success, no warning and errors in logs, but nothing is pinned except for explorer in start menu of win10xpe.

by the way, how can I create AccountPicture.accountpicture-ms?

regards.

Thanks guys  :thumbsup:

@circcc
I assume you use "Run From USB" for both apps.
You Cannot Pin Applications from a Removable Media...

For AccountPicture.accountpicture-ms, Change your account avatar in windows setting, account
Then you should find the AccountPicture here
C:\Users\XXXXX\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\AccountPictures
Copy and rename it

Hi circcc

I just checked "Pin To StartMenu" of PeNetwork, Firefox Quantum,

thanks for your report, but seems to be OK for me
For 'Pin to Startmenu', did you check you had 'Run from RAM' selected on the app interfaces

hmm, it is not normally possible, it is by concept in Windows itself
But, I don't remember, maybe you can do it by pointing to a shortcut created before in desktop or StartMenu.
ex pecmd:
Code: [Select]
LINK %Programs%\Network\Mozilla Firefox Quantum ESR,Y:\Programs\Mozilla Firefox Quantum ESR_x64\Firefox.exe
LINK %Desktop%\Mozilla Firefox Quantum ESR,Y:\Programs\Mozilla Firefox Quantum ESR_x64\Firefox.exe

[PinUtil]
StartMenu2=%Desktop%\Mozilla Firefox Quantum ESR.lnk
StartMenu2=%StartMenu%\Programs\Network\Mozilla Firefox Quantum ESR.lnk

Additional info, you should find PinUtil's log here: %Temp%\PinUtil.log

Otherwise, to test, you can make a right click on the exe or the shortcut
If Pin to StartMenu is not present in the Context Menu, then it is not possible
PinUtil uses the Context Menu hidden and in the same way
If it is not possible with Windows, then it is not possible with PinUtil either and vice versa

This is build with previous Win10XPE 2020-07-08.
"Run From USB" is used for both apps.

Maybe you had BuildCore-->Main Interface-->'Run ALL programs from Ram' checked
