Recuva Undelete

For those who are using Piriforms's Recuva Undelete (Recuva - Portable: http://www.piriform.com/recuva/builds):

If you update to version 1.51.1063 (rcsetup151.zip) then you notice, that the GUI of Recuva doesn't appears, only the recuva.exe process is visible in the taskmanager.

This is because the newest versions of Recuva have a new option 'Show shadow copies':



Solution: enable the 'Vss' plugin in 'Components', activate the checkbox 'Load Vss at Startup', then Recuva Undelete works!

I use Recuva too but it is not up to date.

just updated Recuva plugin and tested on Gena (and Gena x64) without vss,

it finds deleted files after deep scan, and recovers...

maybe requirements missing on your side (Win8...SE ),
or maybe Recuva behaviour changes on nt6x,
try
Gena\Apps\HD Tasks\File Undelete\Recuva plugin (without vss enabled)
