I added the line "CopyINF = nvppc.inf" in nvtrim.txt
I also commented the Inf files used in the Nvidia GeForce Plugin updated.
Thanks

Hi,

I just could add Driver\"Nvidia GeForce" Plugin on my side...

I have similar results with ChrisR only some additional info and improvment on plugin.

Thanks again JFX for inftrim and DrvInstPatch

tested with 418.81-notebook-win10-64bit-international-whql

All Nvidia Drivers occupy 4.39 GB space
---> you need 4.39 GB HardDisk
All Nvidia Drivers occupy only 37 MB inside wim with Normal compresion
All Nvidia Drivers occupy only 23.1 MB inside wim with High compresion

At boottime only takes few seconds.

@Chris

Thanks for info on your XPEPlugin
It takes only 2 minutes to add ALL drivers by using direct extraction instead of file copy one by one method on your XPEPlugin.
I see 7z have not implement compression method to wim yet. workaround wim + 7z

See Driver\"Nvidia GeForce" Plugin , select "ALL Drivers"

+ since your motto is speed other part of the Plugin may also take your interest... eg. [Process_x64_Select_Direct]

I am new on this driver area, not tested with real hardware, let me know if something I miss.

Hi,

Thanks again for UxPatch JFX, it works nicely here. I updated relevant plugins on my side

One thing I can not figure out:
with Win7PESE adding aero.msstyles cause Start Button visually very bad, rest looks nice.
I tested with these:
https://www.deviantart.com/minhtrimatrix/art/Elune-199350232
https://www.deviantart.com/deskmodder/art/Snap-7-VS-155944155

themeui themeservice uxtheme are patched and tested with Win7_Ult_SP1_English_x64 v6.1.7601.17514

maybe aero.msstyles version not match ?
If yes is there a theme you will recommend for Win7_Ult_SP1_English_x64 v6.1.7601.17514 ?

Maybe I am missing something else ?

Maybe it's because these themes are not good looking in Aero Basic version.

I also heard there is
Theme "TallyHawk G" (Thanks to JFX)
 and
BootScreen "Miss Nurse_67576_hungherk" (Thanks to olegpov)

Last time I saw them, I was creating a junction to Win10 user profile folders ~ a month ago.
( once a year or less I guess....  )

If you find themes for Win7 that looks fine with "Aero Basic version" on Win7PESE at your archive
 and like to share,
I will save them like "TallyHawk G"  "Miss Nurse_67576_hungherk" ...

Thanks for all.  :worship:

Yes I understand, with Duplicates Once FileRepository.wim is a good idea
To keep it light and extract in one step 1, 2,... or All drivers. Not tested but it is sure that it is faster than the folder copy(s), Interesting.

I see you've been following [Create_Registry_File_Info]
Did you go through a plugin or batch to create them for All drivers ?
I had done it manually on my side but only for 7 drivers.

I create a "Plugin Creator Driver" plugin, It is not perfect enough for regular user (to my personal standarts) but does the job well and will work with most cases I believe....  :great:
perfect enough for nvidia package.

Call,DownloadX,"%BaseDir%\Projects\Yomi\UtilsY\Plugin_Creator_30_Driver.Script"

There are lots of notes I take inside plugin with [Info_

[Info_Lancelot_Plugin]
[Info_Lancelot_Create_Nvidia_Plugin]
[Info_ChrisR_Create_Registry_File]
[Info_Lancelot_Small_List]
[Info_ChrisR_INF_files_by_manufacturer]
[Info_Lancelot_Size]

you are advanced user enough to figure out, here is a summary:

+ I first made a Basic build. (required to get registry on later steps and avoid projecttemp delete)

+ I create inftrim package with new plugin
SE\Drivers\Nvidia GeForce Setup InfTrim

+ I copy ALL files inside \Display.Driver\ to
"PC Driver" plugin -> "Provide Driver" button folder --> Start Creating Driver Files
This creates registry files and FileRepository
And continue with Step4 on plugin with info at [Info_Lancelot_Create_Nvidia_Plugin]

*
Thanks again for info on your XPEPlugin, I am slowly learning core related things .... :turtle:

+
And a question:
I could not figure out getting manufacturer names for inf files ?

I searched on google for the manufacturer names for inf files, I don't know either.
I just knew it was nvaci.inf for my Acer Laptop.

On description, 418.81-notebook-win10-64bit-international-whql can be confusing
For desktop computer, it is 418.81-desktop-win10-64bit-international-whql.exe and they are identical.

Thanks for Plugin_Creator_30_Driver,  I'll take a look when I have a little more time.
It's sure it might be useful, as for Wlan Network Drivers for example.

I will add info to both plugins.

you mean
DriverPack WLAN 12.03 for Windows Vista/7 (x64)
?

ps:
I have not tested with drivers at subfolders, test "PC Driver" Plugin first with nvidia.
It requires some experience and time to me so I can understand and improve to better ....

I was thinking about Drivers\Net drivers.script to update it in relation with Windows Releases 1803, 1809, 1903

Hi, JFX

just a notice.

DrvInstPatch.exe can't work for 10.0.18855(20H1),
still work for 10.0.18356(19H1).

 maybe good to have new topic about XXXXPatch.exe.

Thanks for the report.
It seems they added a 5 byte NOP instruction after every API call in this version
