The Win10PE SE project provides a basis for building a PE environment using a Windows 10™ DVD and supports both x86 and x64 architectures.

Download Windows 10 ISO on TechBench by WZT.

* Use Official Release Source - Check 'Main Plugin' of The Project. We have time to only test with 1 source.

Advanced Users Tip:
 Only sources with install.wim supported (install.esd etc. not supported)
  convert your source cd with install.esd to install.wim if required . eg. Dism++ See: TM.Richard Reply 7
   Keep in mind, You are responsible for the untested source results. 
    If you have trouble, first test with an unmodified supported source. eg. Coryc209



* Copying the Windows 10 DVD's contents to a folder on your hard drive is highly recommended.

* It is highly advised to use the "Extract Wim folders" in Utils folder for a faster and more reliable building. (Done automatically If you Copy Windows 10 DVD's contents to a folder on your hard drive )

    Thank you to the great ChrisR    for creating the Win10PE SE project.  Last year we were lucky enough to get one last SE update from him, since then, the Win10XPE project has been created.    An excellent project and evolution for PE building. 

Although this is great news, it also means the SE project servers have been left without updates...

It is with great pleasure I announce to you, the Win10PE SE project has been moved into Extended Support.

-UnlockInstallSource(Beta) - This plugin prepares your install media by enabling features in your extracted WIM folders. This makes creating plugins for these features much easier.  Areas that benefit from this process: Printing Features, .NET Framework, Linux Subsystem, SMBv1, Telnet Client, TFTP Client, etc




**To use unlock install source plugin now, before development is complete follow the below steps.

Download the project - Extract your Win10 install ISO to a folder on the root of your drive

1.) In the config source plugin interface click the small folder icon
2.) Select the folder your extracted your Windows 10 install ISO to.
3.) Click the "Set Source" button on the config source plugin interface
4.) Select the images configuration plugin and click the small green play button on the plugin interface (Allow the default autoextraction)
5.) Select the Build>Retrieve Tools plugin and click the small green play button on the plugin interface (Allow download of ADK files)
6.) Select Utils>UnlockInstallSource and click the "Begin" button on the plugin interface

-OR-

If you have already performed at least one build you can use the UnlockInstallSource without performing the steps above.


The included features in your install media will be baked in enabled.  This should make it much easier to add features for plugin creators.

Soon this will be automatically performed during build by default.

Win10PESE now supports BuildClass 3 as default.
with other words
Win10PESE as default do not require Extracted Wim Folders or Mount Wim Files anymore.
I only add small part of the work with Azin to Win10PESE
(Azin as default BuildClass 3)

Just mount your iso (Win10_1809_English_x64.iso) to a drive (eg. F: )

Click "Big Blue Play" Button, select source (eg. F:)

You will notice build continue without Mount Wim Files 

Now it is easier to build Win10PESE

To avoid popular FAQ here is a reply with the package update announcment.
> Why is Win10PESE stated the latest version as 1809 ?
1)
Technically Win10PESE is ready to support sources after 1809 after I add relevant Azin Plugins and features a long time ago (Announced on 2020-03-28) ,
 further up to end-user feedback to support sources after 1809.
  eg. Bob.Omb added support from 1709 up to 1809 in the past.
2)
Practically Azin supports sources before and after 1809 (eg. 20H2) using same Plugins,
 so end-user can continue using same Plugins for both (all) projects,
  and since Projects designed to work together on same folder, end-user can easily use both (or all) projects on same folder with same Plugins.

To demonstrate:
Here is a Picture Azin Gena Win7PESE Win8PESE Win8.1SE Win10PESE on same folder (D:\Oven\) using the same Q-Dir Plugin

Since ms decided to change things again a few days before I pack, a quick update was required.

Critical Update: Win7PESE Win8PESE Win8.1SE -> "wimgapi was not found" again fixed.

If you want to build Win7PESE Win8PESE Win8.1SE better use Win10Host 
If you want to use another Host:
1) Be sure your source is on a folder and you let "Extracted Wim Folders" Plugin extract the source.
2) Probably better not use \Drivers\"Driver Integration" Plugin

AND
If you see "wimgapi was not found" again in future, manually fix it by putting required files to the appropriate folder, check the log to see the appropriate folder.

Win10PESE:
So far no problem reported with "wimgapi was not found", default Win10PESE do not need mount (BuildClass3)
 But in case you have "wimgapi was not found" failure with Win10PESE in the future when I am not around,
  just put required files to the appropriate folder manually, check the log to see the appropriate folder.

   Technically, Win10PESE default with BuildClass3 does not need wimgapi and relevant files,
      but I do not have time to update relevant Plugins accordingly. Probably in summer.

 Win10PESE default "BuildClass3" can build offline out of box.
 Win7PESE Win8PESE Win8.1SE -> when source is on hd ->  "BuildClass2 with Extracted Wim Folders" --> can build offline out of box.
